Design
Step 1. A diagnose and
analysis of the strengths and weaknesses in the team-as-a-whole. For
adequate actions it is essential for the team to know where they are
strong and where they have their possible blind spots. The results are
based on the 8 key factors and are actually the management team member’s
perception of their effectiveness.
Step 2: A diagnose and
analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the individual members of the
management team. If everyone in the team is aware of his/her own and all
the other management team members’ personality traits and contributions
to the team, a better and more efficient use of the individual resources
in the team can take place. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator is a relevant
instrument, but other alternatives are possible to use.
Step 3: This step is a
systematic study of how the Management team members contribute to the 8
effective team factors and identify possible obstacles for effective team
work.
Step 4: Presentation and
discussion on how the Management team can utilize and optimize their
efficiency as team, based on the 8 effective team factors. The goal is to
formulate concrete action plans with the intention to realize it back at
the workplace. |
