SERIES OF NUMBERS
Objectives:
To measure logical thinking with numerical
units.
Description:
Out of a couple of numbers find out a pattern and to complete the Series
of numbers. However, the series are constructed in a multi-dimensional
way and demand also some creative out-of-the-box thinking.

|
ESTIMATIONS
Objectives:
To
measure ability to make realistic estimations in a pilot context.
Description:
Today pilot candidates are excellent in handling calculators, but many of them are not able to evaluate if the received
numbers are reasonable and realistic. This test
expose tasks under a certain time limit when the subject of the test has
to estimate different conditions.

|
SHORT TERM MEMORY
Objectives: To
measure Short Term Memory in a pilot context.
Description: Digits,
letters, flight instrument settings are presented for the subjects to memorize. Followed by some distracting
cognitive work the subjects are asked to recall
the originally presented items.
|
 |
|
INSTRUMENT INTERPRETATION
Objectives: To
measure the ability to interpret instrument indications.
Description: The
task is to read the combination of 6 different instruments and to
decide the correct corresponding verbal descriptions of the instrument
indications.
|
 |
|
SPATIAL ORIENTATION
Objectives: To
measure spatial ability and vigilance in a pilot context.
Description: The
test screen consists of pilot instruments and pictures of five aircraft
in different positions and angles. The task is to determine which
aircraft's position corresponds to the instrument indications.
Simultaneously the subject has to control and adjust the airspeed and
altitude given in a flight plan.

|
MULTI TASKING
Objectives: To
measure vigilance, operational speed and accuracy under simultaneous
workload (multi tasking).
Description: The
candidates are supposed to work with visual and audio stimulus. While
working with mathematical and spatial tasks, the candidates also meet
tasks demanding short term memory. Unexpected disturbing elements are
introduced.
|
 |
|
STRESS MANAGEMENT
Objectives: To
measure stress tolerance under simultaneous
workload (multi tasking).
Description: The
candidates are supposed to work with continuously generated mechanical
tasks while interfering mental problems are presented and have to be
taken care of. The test also reveals perceptual blockages.
